EMDR and Trauma Counseling

Trauma is not limited to people who have experienced extreme violence, disaster, war or accidents. You can experience trauma symptoms from overwhelming, upsetting or frightening experiences where you: Felt stuck, out of control and unable to escape; Felt your life and/or your loved ones’ lives were at stake; Witnessed life-threatening incidents happen to someone else and felt helpless; Experienced violations of your boundaries and body; Experienced chronic stress; Experienced neglect of your physical and emotional needs.

Depression Counseling

You may be struggling with feelings of hopelessness, helplessness, lack of motivation, resignation and dread. EMDR, which isn’t a talk therapy, on average takes the place of 8 traditional talk therapy sessions.

EMDR via telehealth is equal to in office EMDR, and often more comfortable for a client, because it takes place in the client’s personal space.
